Ajax CC both 2nd div and 3rd div had fantastic cricket,
winning both games triumphantly..!! 2nd div crushed the
centurions fro 59 runs, Opening bowlers Skipper
Jason & Khurram were unplayable,, had the opponents struggling at
4 for 4. then 59 all out.. Batting was some sparkling
stuff,, Top opening bat Allan DeSouza,, scored a quick 47 with 4
consecutive six's and 1 four in about 6 over's, scoring the
winning required partnership with Sudham F. 60 runs.
3rd Div,, was great as well. Ajax scoring approx 225 in 50
over's
Youngster Julian De Mel on fire with 70 runs... 90 run
PArtnership with previous game Ton-r Saajad, Opponents BLCA were all out for 140 runs.. Sorry the
other details have not been wired to the press box yet.
Juniors Had a great weekend too, playing 2 of the 3 games were
scheduled, the Monday game was postponed.. TBA.
Ajax under 13 played a great game at Ross Lord park,, New batting order
saw Young Jonathan Wardle & Michael Alexander opening the batting.
Followed by Dawson & Praveen.
Ajax u15 vs. cavaliers, batting first Kieran Mohammed & Nabil Wasti.
Nabil scored an excellent 45 with Ben Navaratne jr. to bring the score
to a tidy 94 in 22 over's.
This was a Nail biting finish with Cavaliers requiring 10 runs in 3
over's, Some excellent bowling and fielding by the Ajax u15..

Englishman-Canadian IMRAN TOWHEED showed us his prowess
with the willow, smashing a sh--buckling 87 not out with partner
batsman-youngster Akhil,, on 55 to bring a comfortable win for the
3rd Division vs. Transac this weekend
Weekend Roundup... Another warm hot weekend, with both Ajax
teams busy,, 2nd div was away atop the Duffering
reservoir, the wind was playing havoc, the Astro Turf was No
cricket pitch (bumpy & Curfy), not even a Grandprix track,
nevertheless, skipper for the day Freshwater, Ordered out his Batters &
saw a steady compilation of a massive total of 197, As always
Young Akhil brings home 40, sparkiling Allan 32, quiet steady
Bruce 23, Phil-28, The Ajax was sure Masssive compared
to the Overseas Total of 37 all-out, Raj with his New ball Left arm spin
magic. claimed 5-3runs in 4 overs, Allan had 3-16.
Ajax now Tied in 3rd place.. overall.
Ajax 3rd Div, lead by Skipper
Haroon, played on Home Turf, started off brilliantly chasing the
WestIndies score of 206, Fast& furious Sam 3wkts-40, Ryan -2/32 & Rod
2/35 Openers lightning fast -on fire, Julian-49 & Francis-20 with
a great start of 60+ runs, followed by Steady Smiling -Imran steady
30, Ryan 17, Roshan 16, Homerunner Rod 12, were stalled at
176 all -out,, short of 30 runs.. Ajax 3rd could be
placed 3rd as well. ( PS.. spectator

Junior Under 13 Won vs. Mississauga Ramblers
on Saturday June 16th
Ajax U13, bowled a perfect line & some accurate Fielding, had the
Ramblers
stranded in their tracks, 5 RUNOUTS, Med. Pacer, Fariz, had 2 wkts,
and the
Anandappa Brothers shared a wicket each. Ajax was chasing a total of 66
runs, W-Keeper/Bat-Ben scoring 17 with a Six & 2 fours & Spinner Bat-Gayan
at 12, saw Ajax U13, to an easy Victory...
Junior under 15, an exciting game, vs. Centurions on Sunday June 17th
Ajax fielding first claimed 3 run outs, Spinner Gayan 2 wickets & Med.
Pace
Roger had the best bowling with 3 wickets in 1 over. Ajax started
the
batting well with Nabil finding the Boundary at will scoring 31 with 5
fours, then Skipper Ijaz, nursing a Bruised Knee, batted
with vigour and
determination, scored an entertaining 35 with 7 fours. The last pair
(cousins) Gayan & Roger worked hard to bring the total just short of 10
runs.
They did well overall to have a great weekend of Junior cricket.
The Adults, 2nd Division won their game vs.
Northern.
Ajax Fielding first forced the opponents to a humble 104 runs, Ajax
Bowling
and fielding had routine execution... MR. KK on 3/20, Experienced Raj V.

Ajax replied with a commanding display of hitting by opener, Med. Pacer,
Lead Guitarist, Allan with a quick14 with 2- 4¡¦s, that was followed by
fireworks from tall, strong veteran Roop, Roping 1 six & 6 - 4¡¦s,
this was
followed by some skilful stroking by back-in-Ajax Bruce, and
Youngster
Akhil, partnering almost 50 runs.
It was another early day at work for the 2nd Div Squad.
The hard working and always alive 3rd Division team was away at Humber
college grounds playing the Pegasus Club, as reported by SD.
The Ajax XI
struck wood early with Big Bird Rod, taking 2 wickets, and IT
specialist,
young Dad, Ryan, spinning a Web securing 4 wickets to his prey. Ajax
could
not sustain their batting with the same strength and only got a decent
half century plus, and resulted 1 game down. The Skipper Vije commented
to
the media, stating that their 3rd Div. Squad is Work-in ¡Progress, and
some
Trades are on the cards...
